Arsenal interested in Spartak Moscow winger

There is news that Arsenal might be interested in Spartak Moscow winger Quincy Promes.

The latter has been playing well for some time now, and it is reported that there are a number of European clubs that might be interested in the player. Indeed last season itself Quincy Promes has managed to score 18 goals and contributed to numerous assists.

Quincy Promes has stated that he is fed up of playing in Russia and that he wants to play in a better league. It is believed that Arsenal has been following the player for quite some time now and that they might be prepared to make a bid in the summer.

Arsenal who have released MatthieuFlamini, Mikel Arteta as well as Thomas Rosicky are currently short on midfield players. And it might also be possible that Theo Walcott leaves the team in the summer as he fails to establish himself as an important player in the team.

They will be hoping that Quincy Promes will provide them an additional option in their attack. Alexis Sanchez has been impressive since his move to Arsenal, and they will be hoping that having another quality winger on the other side of attack can help them improve their attack.

It is also believed that Tottenham Hotspurs might also be interested in the player. Spurs are also looking to boost their attack ahead of the new season and may be prepared to make a bid for the player. However, they might be discouraged by the price of the player who is valued at around £11.6million. Spurs are hoping that they could build on their impressive performance last season. They will believe that by improving their team they could mount a proper challenge this season and help them clinch their first Premier League trophy for quite some time.
