Javi Garcia, the coach of Malaga CF, is disappointed to have lost the services of Nordin Amrabat for a little while.
According to Garcia, Amrabat had become a key guy for him because of his ability of being able to play at any place. Now that he is not going to be around until next year, it’s hard for his team to cope.
Speaking the other day, Garcia said, “Nordin has just been fabulous since coming in. We have asked him to occupy different positions and he has never sighed away from his responsibility. He is a great bloke to have around. We would miss him for the time he is going to be out, but, we will have to get the job done without him.”
It’s Galatasaray SK to which Amrabat is currently contracted.
The Turkish club had placed Amrabat on loan to Malaga the previous winter and the 27-year old did so well there that his stay was prolonged. He has to stay in Spain for the whole of the ongoing season.
In the 2014-15 Season thus far, Amrabat has got to play 9 league matches at Malaga and he has struck thrice. All those three goals have been classy and skilful.
Last month, while being with his national side i.e. Morocco, Amrabat hurt himself and on the basis of the scans, the Malaga medical staff reckons that the minimum time that he requires to get fit from that injury is one and half months.
So, there is absolutely no chance of Amrabat being seen in action again for Malaga this year or even at the start of the New Year for that matter. He would probably be coming back in February 2015.
Malaga is 7th in the Liga table at the moment.
