Russian striker Artem Dzyuba has said that Spartak Moscow have the ability to win the Russian league title this season. Only a few weeks ago, it looked extremely unlikely that Spartak Moscow will be able to win the title, but recent results have gone in their way. As a result, they now find themselves within touching distance of the title.

The 3-1 win over Dynamo Moscow was really the turning point in their season according to Artem Dzyuba. Only nine points only separate the leaders from Spartak Moscow, and the club are now in the fourth position. Lokomotiv Moscow, though, are ahead of Spartak Moscow at this point.

Artem Dzyuba has said that the teammates should be focused on winning the title and nothing else should come in their way. Spartak Moscow are looking to win the league this season after a 11 year wait for the title. Zenit St Petersburg currently lead the Russian Premier league title race.

Spartak Moscow will be facing in Zenit St Petersburg in the next few weeks and Artem Dzyuba urged his teammates to reproduce the same form against the table leaders as well. Zenit St Petersburg come into the match after having dropped vital points recently.

Due to the dip in form, Artem Dzyuba told Betfair.com that he thinks it will be very easy to win against Zenit St Petersburg, as they do not have a lot of confidence right now.

However, he also said that they should not be complacent against Zenit St Petersburg as they have already beaten Dynamo Moscow 5-1 away from home. Further, the leaders will be coming into the match after having lost the match against Louders in the Russian Cup 1-0. This surprise loss has eliminated them from the Russian Cup this season.

Spartak remain one of the favourites to qualify for the Betfair Champions League next season, and will be hoping their impressive form continues.
