NIGERIAN STAR LINKED WITH TRANSFER MOVE

Nigerian forward Emmanuel Denis has been linked with a move away from Belgium side Club Brugge with a number of clubs reportedly interested in his services. Dennis has been impressive for the Belgium side this season and has proven his mark in the Champions League scoring twice in a match against record-holders Real Madrid.

It is understood that several clubs are monitoring the player including the likes of Aston Villa, Spartak Moscow and Hoffeinham. The Nigerian international is a pacy forward capable of scoring with either foot.

He is can also play as a lone forward or operate from the wings which makes him a versatile asset. It is thought that Club Brugge are keen to hold unto the player for this season but may be forced to sell in January.

The Belgium side are known as a selling club and regularly has a turnaround of players from the club. Last season top striker Wesley Moraes was sold for a record fee to Aston Villa in the summer.

It is understood that the English club could make a move for Dennis as they look to strengthen their attacking options. Villa have been impressive in the League so far as they look well equipped to escape relegation this season. Manager Dean Smith spent money and has a group of players capable of staking it out there with the very best in the league.

It remains to be seen whether Dennis will make the move as the Nigerian is just in the early stages of his career.

Club Brugge at this moment looks like the best option for his growth as a move to Spartak Moscow would take him into obscurity while Villa and Hoffeinham would mean more competition for first-team places. The 21-year-old has scored 6 goals in all competitions this season.
